Ninja 2-in-1 Blender Review
There are a number of reasons you may be interested in buying a blender. Whether you are a smoothie maestro or a cocktail connoisseur a blender can be a great kitchen accessory to have. When looking for blenders you will probably have come across products from Ninja. Ninja is a brand run by the same company that makes Shark vacuums but focuses purely on kitchen devices like blenders, food processors and air fryers. The Ninja 2-in-1 blender is one of the more powerful blenders that the company offers, but is it worth buying? Here is our review of the product.

What's in the Box: Ninja 2-in-1 Blender
The first thing to note when the Ninja 2-in-1 blender arrives is that the box has some serious weight to it. This all begins to make sense when you unpack the blender and see just how meaty the motor base unit is. It is a proper tank! In the box is all you need to get started making your blended creations. Included is;
- Motor Base
- 2.1L Jug with Lid
- 700ml Cup with Lid
- Stacked Blade Assembly
- Extractor Blades Assembly
Both the 2.1L jug and the 700ml cup are made of plastic but do feel durable. They both have a good weight to them in your hand so you don’t need to worry about knocking them or throwing them in the dishwasher. However, because they are plastic be careful using them with very hot liquids. The cup has a provided lid so you can fill it with ingredients, blend and go which is great for smoothies to take with you on the go. The jug also comes with a provided lid. The lid features a flap at the front for pouring out mixtures or it can be removed completely if the consistency is thick. If you want additional cups or jugs for the Ninja 2-in-1 blender, Ninja does offer these on their site. I can see additional cups being quite useful, especially when more than 1 person wants to use the blender with different ingredients.
Setup: Ninja 2-in-1 Blender
Ninja has done a great job of making this product really easy to set up and use. The motor base has 3 blend types to choose from, Blend, Max Blend & Crush. Speed-wise you get 4 options, Low, Medium, High & Pulse. The simplicity of the interface means you will be enjoying your mixed creation in no time.
There are nice safety features built into the Ninja 2-in-1 blender as well. For example, you can’t begin mixing until you have locked the jug or cup into place. Furthermore, for the jug, you also need to have the lid secured before the device will blend. These are good features to have and protect you against any oops moments where you might try to blend your bright green morning smoothie without a lid in your freshly cleaned kitchen. As you can imagine the outcome would not be far from ideal so thank god for those safety features right.
Overall I have no complaints with the setup process for the Ninja 2-in-1 blender. It’s so easy to use and even if you were to forget something it is smart enough to prevent you from blending up a royal mess.
Performance: Ninja 2-in-1 Blender
Now I’m no blender expert but this thing has some power. My previous blender chucked out around 500 watts of power and this was really noticeable when blending a lot of iced ingredients for a morning smoothie. With the Ninja 2-in-1 blender those performance issues have gone. Nothing stands in its way. All you have to do is press the blend button and it rips to shreds anything that you have placed inside that jug. Even the crushed feature, which is for making crushed ice, doesn’t know its own strength. I tried to use this to make crushed ice for some cocktails but what came out resembled very fine snow. The blender had pulverised the ice, so be warned.
Smoothie consistency has been really good. As I mentioned this thing is powerful which means any ingredients you decide to put in your smoothie will blend nicely and result in a smooth drink. I haven’t tried it for anything else yet apart from smoothies and crushing ice but it does say you can use it for making sauces as well. If you are looking for it to chop veg I wouldn’t recommend this product. Ninja do make a 3-in-1 food processor which is more geared towards this and may be worth a look.
Final Thoughts
Overall I have been super impressed with the Ninja 2-in-1 blender and couldn’t recommend it enough. Its blending performance is excellent and is just what you need to make a delicious fruit smoothie.
